Dr. Sonja Carina Döller recently graduated from Darmstadt University of Technology with a Doctoral degree in the international and interdisciplinary working group of Prof. Buntkowsky in physical chemistry. She got her Master of Science from this university. Her research interests include Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Material Characterization, Synthesis, and Dynamics.
Prof. Dr. Markus Hoffmann is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, State University of New York at Brockport. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from the Washington University, St. Louis. He has published over 60 papers and serves as a reviewer for various journals. Furthermore, he received recognition by awards, such as the 2014 Roland Fontaine Award for Faculty-Student Scholarship (SUNY Brockport), the 2011 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activity (State University of New York), and the SUNY Promising Inventor Award (2004). His specialty covers the area of physical chemistry, NMR spectroscopy, green solvents, polyethylene glycol, physical property measurements, and molecular dynamics simulations.
Prof. Dr. Michael Vogel is a Managing Director and a Professor of the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics at the Darmstadt University of Technology, where he graduated. His research topics mainly include Chemical Physics, Molecular Dynamics, Ionic Liquids, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Physical Chemistry, Mesoporous Silica, Polymer, Dielectric, Glass Transition, and Spectroscopy.
Prof. Dr. Gerd Buntkowsky studied Physics at the FU Berlin. After finishing his Ph.D., he moved as a senior researcher to the Chemistry department of the FU Berlin, where he undertook his habilitation in Physical Chemistry. In 2004, he accepted an offer as full-professor (C3) from the FSU Jena, and in 2009 he moved to the TU Darmstadt as Chair (W3) of Physical Chemistry. His research focuses on the investigation of the structure and dynamics of condensed matter using solid-state NMR techniques, and on the development and application of hyperpolarization techniques in solution and solid-state NMR. He has authored more than 300 publications in these fields.
