Dr. Francesco De Francesco MD: is a reconstructive plastic surgeon who currently works at the Marche University Hospital in Ancona, Italy. He is an eligible professor in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as in histology and translational medicine. He focused attention on plastic surgery, stem cells, biomaterials and surgical application (from bench to bedside). He is currently working on the use of stem cells from adipose tissue and on the use of exosomes in clinical practice including difficult-to-heal ulcers, joint osteoarthritis and breast reconstruction.
