John C. Su graduated from the University of Melbourne, completed fellowships in dermatology and pediatrics, was awarded the Florence bequest for post-fellowship training at the Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago, and undertook postgraduate studies at Melbourne, Cambridge, Warwick, and Durham universities. He has been Clinical Director of Dermatology at Eastern Health since 2002 and is an adjunct clinical professor at Monash University, Eastern Health Clinical School. He also attends the Royal Children’s Hospital, MCRI, and various satellite pediatric dermatology services that he helped establish. He is a founding member of the Australasian Paediatric Dermatology Group, has been on the international taskforce of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, is a councilor of the International Eczema Council, and a member of the International Society of Atopic Dermatitis, where he serves in the OPENED group. His research interests which he has published include atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, clinical trials, vascular anomalies, artificial intelligence, genodermatoses, autoimmune and autoinflammatory systemic diseases, and quality of life.
