Prof. Manuela Malatesta obtained her B.Sc. degree in Biology at the University of Urbino. She has carried out research activities at the Centre of Electron Microscopy at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and the Institute of Histology and Laboratory Analyses at the University of Urbino. She has been a member of the University of Verona since 2006, and she is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Neurosciences, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences, University of Verona. Her research interests are cell biology, as studied mainly by advanced histochemical techniques and light and electron microscopy.
