Dr. Saman Hassanzadeh Amin
currently works as an Associate Professor at the Mechanical and Industrial
Engineering, Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, ON, Canada. He earned, a
Ph.D. at the University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada in 2012. He develops
mathematical models that reveal how supply chains can be more efficient. His
research interests include: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management,
Operations Research, Optimization, Information Technology, and Decision Support
Systems.
Dr. Fazle Baki is a Professor at the Odette School of
Business, University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada. He earned, a Ph.D. in
Applied Operations Research at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada
in 1999. He is cross-appointed with Mechanical, Automotive and Materials
Engineering (MAME). He has served on the Board of Governors as a Senate
representative. He served several boards of non-profit and charitable
organizations and committees of the city and police services. His research interests
include Computational Complexity, Metaheuristic Algorithms, Flexible Resource
Scheduling, Operations Scheduling, Scheduling with Batching, Inventory
Management, Traveling Salesman Problems, and Combinatorial Optimization. The
algorithms he develops are usually based on mixed-integer linear programming,
dynamic programming, goal programming, and metaheuristic methods. His research
articles have been published in many professional international journals.
