Dr. Amy Zisui Yan graduated inĀ Biochemistry from the University of Maryland in 2018. From 2015 to 2018, she was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. She received a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College in 2022. She has been a Resident Physician at the Stony Brook University Hospital, New York, USA since 2022.
Dr. Ana Costa received her MD from Weill Cornell Medical College, NY. She is currently an Associate Professor and Associate Residency Program Director at the Department of Anesthesiology, Stony Brook University Hospital. Her research interests mainly focus on clinical anesthesiology, graduate medical education, research, and faculty professional development.
Dr. Sergio Bergese is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Neurological Surgery, the Vice Chair for Professional Development, and the Director of Outcomes and Clinical Research in Perioperative Medicine at Ohio State University. He received an MD degree from the National University of Cordoba in 1988 and has been in practice for more than 20 years. His main research interests and expertise are neuroanesthesia, anesthesia monitoring, and the mitigation of risks and discomforts associated with anesthesia. He was awarded the ASA/SEA Distinguished Educator in Anesthesiology Award in 2019. He is an active member of the ASA, SNACC, IARS, SAMBA, and ASRA. He also serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology, the World Journal of Anesthesiology, and the International Journal of Medicine. He has been a faculty member at more than 50 national and international meetings, where he has presented over 300 lectures.
