Rania Hamed received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa in 2011. She is a Professor at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan. Her research interests mainly focus on developing controlled–release matrix tablets using hydrophilic/ hydrophobic polymers,nanoemulsion-loaded hydrogels, oleogels and bigels for topical/transdermal delivery, and determining the key parameters of the dissolution media that control the rate of dissolution of BCS class II drugs to better predict their in vivo performance.
Ahlam Zaid Alkilani received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Jordan University in 2006 and 2009, respectively, and a Ph.D. from Queen’s University of Belfast in 2013. She is an Associate Professor at Zarqa University. Her research interests mainly focus on pharmaceutical technology, transdermal drug delivery, and pharmaceutics.
