Jose Manuel Garcia, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington and the Director of the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) and the Clinical Research Unit, VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, Washington, USA. His research interests mainly focus on muscle wasting during aging and cachexia, ghrelin and GH/IGF-1 axis, testosterone and hypogonadism in the elderly, traumatic brain injury, and hormonal deficiencies.
Dr. Lindsey Jayne Anderson is an Associate Professor at the Department of Communication, University of Maryland. She received her B.A. from Purdue University in 2004 and then received her M.A. in Corporate Communication from Indiana University Purdue University in 2010. She obtained her Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from Purdue University in 2014. She is an organizational communication scholar who investigates aging and other related communication processes using qualitative methods. Her primary area of research addresses the way age/aging is portrayed by organizations as well as the intergenerational interactions that take place in the workplace.
