Dr. Jishanth Mattumpuram, MD, FACC, is a cardiology specialist and assistant professor at the Department of Medicine, University of Louisville. He had training and practice experience in internal medicine for 8 years in India and received additional training in internal medicine at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases, with special interests in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), a member of the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), and a member of the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He is also board-certified in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT) and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CBCMR). His clinical expertise includes cardiac imaging, nuclear cardiology, coronary artery disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, lipid disorders, and preventive cardiology.
