Jincan Yan received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Huaibei Normal University, China, in 2002 and 2008, respectively, his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Twente University, the Netherlands, and his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China, in 2014. He is now an Associate Professor at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Shanghai Institute of Technology, China. His research interests include lubricant additives, lubricating oil and grease, cutting fluid, and surface engineering.
Hualin Lin is a Professor at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Shanghai Institute of Technology. She received her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Taiyuan University of Technology in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and earned her PhD from East China University of Science and Technology in 2008. After completing her PhD studies, she joined Shenhua Coal-to-Liquid Research Center Co., Ltd. in 2008, became a Senior Engineer at the Shanghai Research Institute of Shenhua in 2019, and then joined the Shanghai Institute of Technology in 2015. She is mainly engaged in the R&D of the coal chemical industry and green energy materials.
Sheng Han is a Professor and Doctoral tutor at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Director of Science and Technology at the Shanghai Institute of Technology. He has won more than 10 honors at the provincial and ministerial level and above, such as the National Project for Millions of Talents, “Hou Debang” Chemical Technology Innovation Award, Shanghai's Leading Talents, and Shanghai Outstanding Technology Leader. He is the invited editor of many domestic and foreign journals, such as Fine Petrochemicals, Materials Herald, and Chinese Chemical Letters. He has presided over more than 70 horizontal and vertical projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation Project, Shanghai Talent Development Fund, and Shuguang Project. He published more than 290 research papers in Adv. Mater, Adv. Funct. Mate, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed, Small, Green Chem., Appl. Energy, Fuel, and other domestic and foreign journals as the first or corresponding author, 13 papers with high ESI citations. He has won more than 20 awards at the provincial and ministerial level and above, such as the first prize for China’s Invention and Entrepreneurship Achievements (2018), the second prize in the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (2015/2017/2020), and the China Industry-University-Research Innovation Award (2020).
