Janusz Kochman graduated from the Medical Academy in Krakow in 1990. He completed training and research internships abroad at university
hospitals in Oxford (UK), Münster and Essen (Germany). He is the Head of the
Invasive Cardiology Laboratory of the First Cardiology Clinic of the Medical
University of Warsaw. His research interests mainly focus on the diagnosis and
treatment of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure and patients
with acquired valvular defects.
Grzegorz Opolski graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at
the Medical University of Warsaw. He received his doctorate in medical sciences
in 1980 and his habilitation degree in 1988. He is a professor and the head of
the 1st Department and Clinic of Cardiology, 1st Faculty of Medicine of the
Medical University of Warsaw. His research interests mainly focus on stable
coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes, heart failure,
arrhythmias, especially atrial fibrillation and electrotherapy, and prevention
of cardiovascular diseases.
Marcin Grabowski received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the Medical
University of Warsaw. He is a Professor at the 1st Department of Cardiology,
Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. His research interests mainly focus on
cardioverter defibrillators; heart failure; cardiology; interventional
cardiology; cardiovascular; acute coronary syndrome and COVID-19.
Mariusz Tomaniak received his doctoral of Medical Studies in
Internal Diseases in 2005. He is a professor at the 1st Department of
Cardiology, Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. His research interests mainly
focus on antiplatelet therapy, interventional cardiology, intravascular
imaging, and coronary physiology.
