Hong Liang is a professor in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. Her research areas include surface properties–behavior relations, (nano)tribology, tribochemistry, bio–nanointerface, biomaterials, nanomanufacturing, and CMP. She is a Fellow of the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and a Fellow of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).
