Feng Zhang is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his MD from Henan Medical University and his PhD from Shanghai Medical University in China. He completed his postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health and Pennsylvania State University.  His research, which is supported by the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health, focuses on cerebral ischemia and vascular dementia. He has been awarded the NIH Visiting Fellow Award and the AHA National SDG Award. He is a Visiting Professor at Zhengzhou University, Tai’an Medical University, and the State Key Laboratory of Medical Neurobiology.

Tuo Yang is currently an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and MD degree from Peking University Health Science Center. She completed her postdoc training and promoted to assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh. Her expertise is clinical medicine and pathologies related to ischemic diseases.
