Dr. Jasna Mihailović trained in Nuclear Medicine and Health Care Management and sub-specialized in Oncology. She mentored several Master’s thesis and PhD dissertation candidates. She participated in several international fellowships in Germany, Spain, Australia, France, and the USA. Nationally and internationally, she has delivered numerous invited talks, presented her research at seminars, and organized nuclear medicine meetings. She served as a member of the Thyroid Committee (EANM, 2014–2020) and as the President of the Serbian Society of Nuclear Medicine (2016–2020). She has received several national and international awards for her professional work, most notably the »Milovan Antic« Award (Best Published Scientific Article, 2012 and 2015) and the »Vladimir Bosnjakovic« Award (Life Achievements in Serbian Nuclear Medicine, 2023), from the Serbian Association of Nuclear Medicine. At present, she is a member of the Academy of Medical Sciences Serbian Medical Society and the President of the Union of Anticancer Societies of Vojvodina. As a senior research fellow, she serves as a member of the Scientific Board in the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia. Her research interests include thyroid imaging, PET-CT, and cancer imaging. Professor Mihailovic is a member of the EJNMMI and JNMMI editorial boards.
