Dr. Gianluca Spena is a highly qualified doctor specializing in urology and andrology. He currently serves as the medical director at the Department of Urology, Istituto Nazionale Tumori, IRCCS, “Fondazione G. Pascale” in Italy. He earned his degree with top marks from Federico II University of Naples and also obtained a specialization degree in urology from the same university faculty with the same result. Dr. Spena’s professional career has been enriched by extensive training in robotic surgery at the Hospital da Luz in Lisbon (Pt), which is one of the most important centers of excellence and innovation in Europe and a reference center of the European Society of Urology (EAU) for robotic surgery. During his training, he performed numerous robotic radical prostatectomies (RARP), simple prostatectomy (RASP), radical and partial nephrectomy (RARN and RAPN), and cystectomy (RARC), as well as benign, endoscopic, and stone surgeries.
