Dr. Jose de Jesus Rangel-Magdaleno received a B.E. in electronics engineering and an M.E. in electrical engineering, specializing in hardware signal processing, from the Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He received his Ph.D. from the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro, Mexico, in 2011. He is now a full researcher at the Electronics Department at INAOE, Mexico. He has authored one book and has more than 120 works published in book chapters, journals, and conferences. He received the 2018 Outstanding Young Engineer Award from the IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Society. He is a member of the Mexican National Research System (SNI), level 2. His research interests include FPGAs, signal and image processing, instrumentation, and mechatronics.
