Prof. Dr. José Luis Olazagoitia serves as the Vice-Rector
for Research at the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT),
Madrid, Spain. He is also an integral member of the Technical Committee for
Automotive Production at the Spanish Association of Automotive Professionals
(ASEPA). He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanics from the University of
Navarra in 1999. His scientific passions are deeply rooted in optimization
applied to machine and mechanism design, particularly in parallel. In addition,
he is a Technical Expert in the Certification of R+D+i projects, both for
private enterprises and the MINECO.
Prof. Dr. Antonio Hernando serves at the Industrial
Engineering and Automotive Department, Nebrija University, Madrid, Spain. He is
also an Emeritus Professor of the Faculty of Physics at the Universidad
Complutense de Madrid. He graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and
holds a Ph.D. degree in Physical Sciences. In addition, he is a member of the
Royal Academy of Exact Physical and Natural Sciences. His main research focuses
on the study of an energy-harvesting damper based on magnetic interaction.
