Dr. Amir Faraji is an Associate Professor at the Construction Project Management Department at the Faculty of Architecture at Khatam University and now is Infrastructure Management Fellow Researcher at the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment, the Western Sydney University. He holds an architecture bachelor of science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Tehran. He has experience in project management in some major construction projects in the energy sector and infrastructure in the petroleum industry and transportation systems. His main areas of interest in research works and academic investigations are Construction Contract Management, Contract Risks, Emerging and Novel Technologies, Digital Design and BIM, and Project Strategic Planning.
Dr. Payam Rahnamayiezekavat is an Associate Dean, International at the Dean's Unit, School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment, and an Associate Professor of Building Surveying and Construction Management at Western Sydney University. Besides qualifications in Construction Management and Engineering, Dr. Rahnamayiezekavat holds a Juris Doctor.
Prof. Srinath Perera is the Chair Professor of Built Environment and Construction Management and the founding Director of the Centre for Smart Modern Construction (c4SMC) at Western Sydney University, Australia. He joined WSU in June 2016 after serving as a Professor of Construction Economics at Northumbria University, Newcastle, in the UK. He is a Board member and the chair of the Future Leaders Committee of CIB the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction. Prof. Perera is the current President of the Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales (FRSN) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building. He is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), and the Australian Institute of Project Management. He has over 30 years’ experience in academia and industry and has worked as a consultant Quantity Surveyors and Project Manager in the construction industry. Prof. Perera is a pioneer in construction informatics integrating AI technologies into construction and project management. He has authored over 250 peer-reviewed publications. His current research leads work in Blockchain and IoT applications in construction, BIM, Digital Twin, offsite construction, construction business models, and construction performance leading to Industry 4.0.
