Jing Jia received her Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering, Ocean University of China, Qingdao, from 1999 to 2003, and her Ph.D. Degree in Environmental Engineering, College of Environmental Science & Engineering, Ocean University of China, Qingdao from 2003 to 2008. She has been an Associate professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Ocean University of China, Qingdao since 2019. She was an Affiliate Academic/Visiting Scholar at University College London, The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, London, from 2021 to January 2023. She was a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Ocean University of China, Qingdao from 2008 to 2018. She has been an Office Dean of the Master of Engineering Management Education Center at Ocean University of China, Qingdao, since 2020. She was the Dean of the Construction Management Undergraduate Major at Ocean University of China, Qingdao, from 2016 to 2021. Her Research Interests include sustainable construction and development planning, applications of digital technologies, including BIM, GIS, DT, etc., and disaster risk management.
Zijing Zhang holds an MSc Degree with Distinction in Project and Enterprise Management from UCL. She started her PhD at UCL and became a postgraduate teaching assistant in 2021. She is a KTP associate at Aston University and Arcadis UK Consulting Ltd. She was a research associate at Creative Wick in 2022. Her research interests include Building Information Modelling (BIM), knowledge representation in the construction industry, machine learning in construction engineering management, and semantic web in the construction industry.
