Dr. Shengyi Wang is currently the Chief of the veterinary natural medicine and antibiotic substitution
innovation team of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, where he was an Assistant Researcher between 2010 and 2016 and an Associate Researcher between 2017 and 2019 at the Lanzhou Pasturage and Veterinary Drug Institute. His work is mainly focused on research and development of new veterinary natural medicines, pharmacology of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, and natural products and intestinal mucosal immunity. He is a member of the 7th China Veterinary Pharmacopoeia Committee and executive director of the Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. He won the 10th Gansu Provincial Youth Science and Technology Award.
