Meiwen Cao is currently working as a professor and doctoral supervisor in the College of Chemical Engineering, China University of Petroleum (East China). He received his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. Between 2017 and 2018, he worked as a senior visiting scholar in the University of Manchester with Prof. Jianren Lu. His research focuses on development of novel biological amphiphilic molecules and their self-assembly, preparation of nano/biological functional materials, and their applications in daily chemical, oilfield chemistry, and pollutant control fields. He has published more than 100 SCI papers and has H index of 30.
