Xin Wu is a Full Professor at the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tianjin, China, and a supervisor of Ph.D.
and Master’s students at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanchang
University, and Hunan Agriculture University. He received his Ph.D. degree from
the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in
2010. He is undertaking several national projects mainly on amino acid
metabolism, such as the National Natural Science Funds, the STS Program of the Chinese
Academy of Sciences, CAS President’s International Fellowship for Visiting
Scientists, and the Hunan Natural Science Fund. Based on these research grants,
he has obtained 29 patents and has published more than 200 papers.
