He has held positions as Editor of several peer-reviewed journals, as a senior research fellow, a chief scientific officer of Fajr Scientific, and a mentor to several aspiring physicians.
Dr. Hannan A Maqsood is a general surgery resident in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut, USA and Medical City, Plano, TX. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan (2015–2021), and has been in practice for 3–5 years. He was also a Postdoctoral Researcher in Surgery at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA (2022–2023).
Khaled Saleh is a highly distinguished Palestinian-American orthopedic surgeon, researcher, educator, and innovator. He is renowned for his exceptional patient care and contributions to the field of orthopedic medicine, particularly in joint revision and regenerative medicine. Currently, he works as Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University and serves as Section Head for Surgical Health Services Research at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Detroit. Additionally, he is Emeritus Executive in Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Detroit Medical Hospital System. With over 260 peer-reviewed papers published, as Senior Editor of six textbooks, he is a prolific writer and has delivered lectures at prestigious institutions worldwide, including Mayo Clinic, Harvard, Cleveland Clinic, Brown University, Oxford UK, Edinburg, Dublin, Zhengzhou China, Sydney and Auckland Royal Australasian College, and John Hopkins. Notably, he is an innovative leader in his field and plays a significant role in developing and validating classification systems for total knee replacement. Furthermore, he holds five patents in TKA design. He is also the founder of FAJR Scientific, an internationally recognized non-profit organization aimed at providing complex orthopedic care for underserved areas around the world. The organization has recently conducted a mission to Gaza, Palestine, providing much-needed orthopedic treatments and surgeries to those in need.
