Prof. Francesco Costa is an Interventional Cardiologist at the Department of Biomedical and Dental Sciences and of Morphological and Functional Images, Messina University Hospital in Italy. He completed a research fellowship and PhD at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 2018. He trained and obtained a Master's Degree in interventional cardiology at the Hospital Clinic, in Barcelona, Spain. He was appointed Ambassador of the EAPCI Young Initiative for Italy from 2016 to 2018.
Dr. Victoria Garcia-Ruiz is affiliated with the Division of Cardiology at GIOMI Hospital in Messina, Italy. Prof. Mamas A Mamas is a Professor of Cardiology at Keele University and is also an Honorary Professor of Population Health at the University of Manchester. He trained in medicine at the University of Oxford, undertaking an MA in Physiological Sciences in 1994 and a DPhil in Physiological Sciences funded by the British Heart Foundation from 1994 to 1997. He completed his clinical training at the University of Oxford in 2000 and undertook house jobs in Oxford's Nuffield Department of Medicine and Cardiology. Dr. Luis Ortega-Paz is an academic cardiologist at the UF Health Cardiovascular Center in Jacksonville and University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. Prof. Dominick J Angiolillo, MD, Ph.D., is Chief of the Division of Cardiology and Medical Director of the UF Health Cardiovascular Center. He graduated from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart Medical School in Rome, Italy, where he completed training in medicine and cardiology. He then pursued training in interventional cardiology at the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain and received his Ph.D. in cellular and molecular cardiology. In 2004, he joined the University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville, where he is a professor of medicine with tenure status, director of cardiovascular research, and director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program. He is a staff cardiologist and interventional cardiologist on the UF Health Jacksonville campus. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
Prof. Marco Valgimigli is a deputy of Cardiology at Cardiocentro Ticino (Lugano, Switzerland), and a head of clinical research. He is also a professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Università della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano, Switzerland). He obtained his medical degree in 1997 at the University of Bologna, Italy. He performed his training in internal medicine at the University of Bologna in 1997-1999 and completed his training in cardiology at the University of Ferrara in 2003. In 2004, he started a clinical and research fellowship in the catheterization laboratory of the Thoraxcenter, Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, where he obtained his PhD title.
