Prof. Dr. Jiaxi Xu is a full professor at Collge of Chemistry, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, he is also the director of the Department of Organic Chemistry. He received his Ph.D. from Peking University in 1992. His main research focuses on organic synthesis chemistry, asymmetric catalysis and synthesis, the synthesis of chiral drugs and their intermediates, and the synthesis of bioactive amino acids and peptides and their reaction mechanisms. He has published more than 350 SCI papers and obtained more than 20 authorized invention patents.
