Prof. Giovanni Cammarota is an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He is also the Director of the Graduate School of Gastroenterology at UCSC. He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 1989 from the Faculty of Rome of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Since 1990, he has been carrying out his care activities at the facilities, first, related to Internal Medicine and, subsequently, to the Department of of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is the Director of the Gastroenterology unit, which mainly deals with digestive endoscopy. He is a member of the Italian and International Scientific Societies, the Scientific Committee (field of Digestive Endoscopy), and the Italian Society of Gastroenterology (SIGE). His research interests are focused on the study of gastro-esophageal reflux, celiac disease, gastrointestinal endoscopy, gut, etc.
