Dr. Enrico Borrelli is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University San Raffaele, Milan, Italy. He became a Fellow in Ophthalmology at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (February 2013–December 2014). From December 2014 to December 2018, he was a Resident in Ophthalmology at Clinic of Ophtalmology, Università degli Studi G. d'Annunzio Chieti e Pescara. From October 2016 to October 2017, he was a Fellow in Ophthalmology at Doheny Eye Institute. He is also a Peer Reviewer of many journals, including the European Journal of Ophthalmology, Arquivos Brasileiros de Oftalmologia, Journal of Ophthalmology, The British Journal of Ophthalmology, etc.
Dr. Mario Damiano Toro is the Coordinator of the Research Center at the Chair and Department of General and Pediatric Ophthalmology of SPSK1 University Hospital in Lublin, Poland (PL). He is the Principal Investigator and Study Coordinator for international and national trials and research projects on new surgical techniques and innovative ocular treatment for different ocular diseases. He won a prestigious ESASO Retina Fellowship at the University Hospital of Zürich, Switzerland (CH). His main interests are the vitreoretinal and cataract surgeries and the study of microRNAs as new molecular biomarkers and diagnostics tools in serum and humor vitreous of different retinal diseases. He has received many international awards and invitations for Magistral Lectures by many international societies and academies.
Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Giannaccare is a Full Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Cagliari (Italy). He received his Medical Degree at the University Campus Biomedico of Rome, after which he went to the University of Bologna, where he completed the Residency Program in Ophthalmology and his PhD studies. His main areas of interest involve the ocular surface (dry eye, ocular graft versus host disease, allergy, neurotrophic keratitis, blood-derived eye drops, and in vivo confocal microscopy) and cornea (keratoconus, keratoplasty, and corneal neurotization).
