Dr. Joan Bas received his MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in 1998 and 2004 respectively. During the pursuit of his PhD, he was the recipient of a 1998-2000 fellowship of the UPC’s Communication Signal Processing Group, and a 2000-2004 PhD scholarship granted by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology. From June 1998 to July 2004, he has been with UPC’s Communications Signal Processing Group, where he has worked first as an Associate Professor and next as a Research Assistant. In March 2005 he joined to the Telecommunications Technological Center of Catalonia (CTTC), where he currently holds a position as a Senior Research Associate in the Array & Multi-Sensor (A&MS) department.
Dr. Ignacio Llamas-Garro is an expert in the field of device engineering and implementation from design to fabrication and testing. Dr. Ignacio Llamas-Garro obtained his PhD from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2003, and has been with the CTTC since 2010. His previous appointments include a postdoctoral stay at the Inter-University Semiconductor Research Center, followed as a BK-21 Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Seoul National University, Korea. He was an Associate Professor with the Large Millimeter Telescope at the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics INAOE, Mexico, and a Juan de la Cierva Fellow with the Signal Theory and Communications Department at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya UPC, Barcelona. He was the co-author of the best paper award at the ISITC 2018 conference in Jeonju Korea and a TPC member of the European Microwave Week, London UK, in 2021.
Dr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra is a Senior Researcher at the CTTC Catalan Telecommunications Technology Centre. He received his PhD in Physics in 2015 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. After completing his PhD, he moved to City University in Hong Kong as a Postdoc. Also, he worked as an associate researcher in Texas A M, ETS Montreal, COPL Laval Quebec City. Thereafter he served as an Associate Research Fellow at the Technical University of Denmark from 2022 to 2023.
