Dr. Noelia Silva-Pilipich is an academic researcher at the Division of DNA and RNA Medicine, Cima
Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. She has a background in Cancer Biology, Immunology, and Gene Therapy. Her skills include cell culture, flow cytometry, protein expression, viral vector production, molecular biology, immunoassays, and animal handling.
Dr. Cristian Smerdou is the principal investigator of the Cancer Gene Therapy laboratory at the Division of DNA and RNA Medicine, Cima Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. He has carried out research stays at the Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden) and at the University of Washington (St. Louis, USA). Since 2000, he has been an investigator at Cima Universidad de Navarra. He specialized in the development of viral vectors for applications in vaccination and cancer gene therapy. His areas of interest include the development of viral vectors for antitumor therapy through the expression of immunomodulatory molecules, such as cytokines and antibodies; development of non-viral strategies based on the use of self-replicating RNA for antitumor therapy; development of viral vectors for the production of recombinant proteins; development of gene therapy strategies for cholestatic genetic diseases.
