Dr. Mislav Mikuš received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2016. He worked as a Gynecology and Obstetrics Resident at University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Croatia (2018–2023). In 2023, he was promoted to an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Croatia. His research interests include endometriosis, general gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, and gynecological oncology.
Dr. Fabio Barra is a Medical doctor in the Unit of Obstetrics and Gynecology, P.O. "Ospedale del Tigullio"—ASL4, Metropolitan Area of Genoa (Genoa, Italy). His research interests include endometriosis, adenomyosis, gynecological ultrasound, gynecological imaging, reproductive surgery, uterine myomas, uterine malformation, and ultrasound. He is the author of over 200 international publications and book chapters indexed in the most common databases of peer-reviewed literature, and he is an editor of a recently published book about reproductive surgery in collaboration with Prof. Simone Ferrero (Genoa, Italy). He has given more than 40 oral presentations in national and international meetings.
Prof. Dr. Jelena Marušić received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Obstetrics and Gynecology- Endocrinology and Human Reproduction unit at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu in 1997. She completed her Ph.D. in the School of Medicine, University of Split in 2001. She has been a REI specialist at the University Hospital Split since 2010.
Dr. Antonio Simone Laganà is an assistant professor (researcher type B) in obstetrics and gynecology at the Unit of Obstetrics and Gynecology, “Paolo Giaccone” Hospital, Department of Health Promotion, Mother and Child Care, Internal Medicine and Medical Specialties (PROMISE), University of Palermo, Italy. He is Coordinator of the Special Interest Group for Endometriosis & Endometrial Disorders (SIGEED) of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Ambassador of the World
Endometriosis Society (WES). He was trained in obstetric/gynecological ultrasound at the Altamedica Main Centre in Rome (Italy), obtained a Master’s in “Gynecological Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery” at the University of Pisa (Italy), and obtained a Ph.D. in “Medical and Surgical Biotechnologies” at the University of Messina (Italy). His research interests include endometriosis, reproductive immunology, infertility, gynecological endocrinology, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy.
