Yingfeng Shao is an Associate Researcher at the State Key
Laboratory of Nonlinear Mechanics, Beijing Key Laboratory of Engineered
Construction and Mechanobiology, Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of
Sciences. He earned his Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Ph.D. from Harbin
Institute of Technology in 2003, 2005, and 2009, respectively. He joined the Institute
of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009 as an Assistant Researcher,
and was promoted to Associate Researcher in 2015. His main research focuses on
the Ceramic Thermal Shock.
Long Li holds a Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics from the Institute
of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). After getting a Ph.D., he
became an Assistant Researcher at the Institute of Mechanics, CAS in 2018, and
was promoted to Associate Researcher in 2021. His main research interests
include cellular-molecular mechanics and ocular biomechanics. He mainly
utilizes biomechanical and mechanobiological research tools to investigate the
mechanical response mechanism of organisms from a multi-scale perspective and
the role of entropic forces in this response.
Fan Song is a Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of
Nonlinear Mechanics, Beijing Key Laboratory of Engineered Construction and
Mechanobiology, Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He earned
a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1997.
He was a Postdoc at the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (1997–1999),
a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University
of Hong Kong (September–December 2002, April–October 2003), and a Visiting
Scholar at the LEMTA-CNRS-France (2003–2004). His main research areas include Microstructure
and mechanical properties of biological and biomimetic materials; Structure and
properties of soft materials (living matter, various polymers and their
solutions, etc.); Structure and properties of ultra-high temperature materials.
