Dr. Raphael Isaac Benhamou is an assistant professor at the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He serves as the Guest Editor for the Special Issue "Recent Advances in Chemical Biology to Study and Target ncRNAs" at MDPI. His research interests primarily revolve around chemical biology, organic chemistry, RNA biology, and biochemistry. In his multidisciplinary laboratory, the focus is on exploring the emerging role of RNA complexes as therapeutic targets. Using organic chemistry as a tool, they aim to address fundamental questions in RNA biology and develop potential methods to treat diseases associated with RNA complexes, such as cancer, infectious diseases, or obesity.
