Elishai is the principal investigator of the Neuro & Biomorphic Engineering Lab (NBEL-lab.com), the Chair of the M.Sc program in Machine Learning and Big Data, and an Associate Professor at the Open University of Israel. In his research, Elishai studies the realm of brain-inspired machines. He utilizes artificial brains to develop new frameworks for robotics and vision processing. Elishai Holds degrees in Life sciences (B.Sc), Philosophy and History (B.A), Computer Science (M.Sc), Clinical and Rehabilitation Neuropsychology (M.A), Bioengineering (M.Sc, Ph.D), and Computational Neuroscience (Post Doc).

Odelia Elkana is a certified rehabilitation psychologist and a senior lecturer at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo, where she serves as the Head of the Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Graduate Program. She received her doctorate from the Hebrew University, Department of Psychology and Brain Science. Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in leading peer-reviewed journals including Cortex, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, Neuropsychology Review, The World Journal of Biological Psychiatry, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology, Frontiers Neuroscience, Personality and Individual Differences, and more. She also served as an associated editor in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease (JAD). In recent years, her research has been dedicated to the field of Psychodiagnostics and Neuropsychological Assessment. She strives to monitor and develop accurate psychological measures, tools, and interventions for various pathologies and to validate them. These include age-related cognitive decline, mild cognitive impairment, chronic pain specifically fibromyalgia, and PTSD (in advanced preparation).
