Dr Paola Emilia Ferrara serves at the A. Gemelli Hospital Foundation IRCSS, Rome, Italy. She graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome and received a Medical Degree in 1998. In 2017, she obtained her PhD degree in Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Her main research focuses on sarcopenia.
Dr Daniele Coraci is an Assistant Professor at the Department
of Neuroscience, Section of Rehabilitation, University of Padova. He graduated
from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and holds a Bachelor of Medicine
and Surgery degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience. His main
research topics include neurorehabilitation, evaluation, and management of
orthopedic diseases. In addition, he is a member of the Italian Society of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the International Society of Peripheral
Neurophysiological Imaging, and the Italian Association of Peripheral Nervous
Systems.
Prof. Giorgio Ferriero is the head of the Department of
Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) at the Scientific Institute of
Lissone of the ICS Maugeri in Italy. He graduated from Università degli Studi
di Genova and received his PhD degree in Rehabilitation Medicine and Sport
from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2015. His main field of research
is the psychometrical analysis of outcome measures. In addition, he is a member
of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Rehabilitation Research
and the Co-Chief Editor of the European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation
Medicine. In 2017, he was awarded the Forchheimer Prize at the ISPO World
Congress in Cape Town, South Africa.
Prof. Gianpaolo Ronconi is
an Associate Professor at the Faculty
of Medicine and Surgery, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and the Director
of the Degree Course in Physiotherapy. He is also the head of the UOSD
Hospitalization and Rehabilitation Services at the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic
Foundation—IRCCS in Rome. He received his PhD degree in Rehabilitation
Medicine from the University of Rome “Tor Vergat” in 2011. In addition,
he is a member of the European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. In
2018, he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as a 1st Level Professor in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
