Dr. Ecaterina E. Dumbrava is an Assistant Professor at the Department
of Investigational Cancer Therapeutics, The University of Texas MD Anderson
Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA. She received her MD in General Medicine at
the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu-Hatieganu”, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
in 2008 and her M.Sc. in Science Health Biology-Oncology/Early Drug Development
at the Paris South University, Orsay, France in 2015. She was a Clinical
Fellow in Medical Oncology at Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus, Villejuif, from
2011 to 2013 and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Translational Molecular
Pathology Department, The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center,
Houston, TX, USA, in 2015. She was awarded the ASCO Merit Award by the American
Society of Clinical Oncology in 2017 and the Scholar in Training Award for
Targeting PI3K/mTOR signaling AACR Conference by the American Association for
Cancer Research in 2018.
Prof. Konstantinos N. Syrigos is a Professor at Athens
Medical School, University of Athens. He graduated from the Athens School of
Medicine in 1988. He received his Ph.D. at the Imperial College of Science,
Technology and Medicine, London University in 2000. He worked as Senior
Registrar in Medical Oncology at the Hammersmith and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals
in London and a Consultant at the Sotiria General Hospital in Athens. In 2002,
he was appointed Associate Professor of Oncology in Medicine and Head of the
Sotiria Oncology Unit. Since 2006, he has also been a Visiting Professor of
Thoracic Oncology at Yale University, CT, USA. His main fields of interest are
targeted therapies, drug development, as well as thoracic and head and neck
oncology.
Azadeh Nasrazadani is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Breast Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA. She obtained a BS in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, in 2004; a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2010; and an MD in Medicine at the Paul L Foster School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Science Center, El Paso, TX, USA, in 2015.
