Prof. Sercan Karav completed his master’s degree in Food Engineering from Ankara University in 2009, and his Doctorate in Food Science And Technology from the University of California, Davis, in 2015. Since 2020, he has worked as an Associate Professor at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His research areas mainly focus on Life Sciences, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Microbial Genetics, and Natural Sciences.
Prof. Dunja Šamec is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Croatia. She served as a Research Associate at the Department of Molecular Biology, Rudjer Boskovic Institute from 2016 to 2021. In March 2016, she was awarded the Croatian Women of Influence Award in the fields of science and technology. Her skills and expertise mainly include Antioxidant Activity, Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Phytochemicals, and Natural Product Chemistry.
