Andrea Zagarella graduated with full marks in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2001, and specialized in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology at the University of Milan in 2006 with a score of 70 cum laude/70. He is a Radiologist at U.O.C. Radiodiagnostica, ASST Centro Specialistico Ortopedico Traumatologico Gaetano Pini-CTO, Milan, Italy. His research interests mainly focus on traditional diagnostic radiology, CT, MRI and ultrasound with particular reference to ultrasound-guided minimally invasive interventional procedures in the musculoskeletal field and sports traumatology diagnostics.
Mauro Battista Gallazzi obtained his Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1982, followed by a specialization diploma from the University of Milan in Nuclear Medicine, Radiodiagnostics, and Rheumatology. He worked as a medical assistant at the Radiodiagnostics Unit of the "Gaetano Pini" Orthopedic Institute in 1986, then as Assistant Manager of the simple Nuclear Medicine structure, and finally as Director of the Operational Unit from 2009 to the present. He is an advisor to the SIRM musculoskeletal radiology section, author of numerous book chapters and over one hundred printed publications, and a speaker at numerous National Congresses sponsored by various scientific associations. He has teaching positions at the University of Milan at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and the schools of specialization in Radiodiagnostics, Orthopaedics, and Rheumatology. His professional career and scientific interests have turned electively to musculoskeletal imaging, with particular regard to the pathology of the spine and the topics of oncology and orthopedic prosthetics, and last but not least, his all-around interest in musculoskeletal interventional radiology.
Paolo Arrigoni graduated with full marks in Medicine and Surgery from the Bicocca State University of Milan in 2001, in 2007 he specialized with top marks in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan. He is an Orthopedic Specialist at the La Madonnina Nursing Home and the Gaetano Pini Orthopedic Institute. His research interests mainly focus on surgery and arthroscopy of the upper limb (elbow/shoulder/wrist) and sports traumatology.
Alberto Aliprandi graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan (1996) and specialized in Radiodiagnostics at the University of Pavia in 2002. He is the Head of the Radiology Service at the Zucchi Clinical Institutes and the Villa Aprica Clinical Institute and collaborates at the La Madonnina Nursing Home. He is also a radiologist consultant in various professional sports clubs. His research involves multiple areas of diagnostic imaging, with particular reference to musculoskeletal pathology (diagnostic and interventional), rheumatology, and oncology.

Paolo Vitali graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa in 1994, where he obtained a specialization in Neurophysiopathology in 1998. From 2012 to 2015, he completed his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Pavia. He is a neuroradiologist and head of diagnostic neuroradiology within the Radiology service of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato. His research activity has focused on magnetic resonance imaging techniques in Alzheimer’s disease and presurgical functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), epilepsy and tumors.
Luca Maria Sconfienza graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa in 2004, where he specialized in radiodiagnostics in 2008 and obtained a PhD in clinical-experimental medicine in 2012. He is a Full professor of radiology at the University of Milan, a Director of the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Operating Unit and a Deputy Scientific Director at IRCCS Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio Hospital, Milan. He specializes in the treatment of sports injuries and treatment of joint pain.
Domenico Albano graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2012 from the University of Palermo, where in 2018 he specialized in Radiodiagnostics. In 2022, he obtained a PhD in Molecular and Clinical Medicine at the University of Palermo. He is a Radiologist and Head of the Advanced Interventional Radiology Research Laboratory of the Musculoskeletal System at the IRCCS Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio Hospital in Milan. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Milan. His main fields of interest include several areas of diagnostic and interventional radiology, particularly musculoskeletal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, bone and soft tissue tumors, musculoskeletal interventional procedures, and lymphoma imaging.
