Dr. Remina Shirai graduated with a Ph.D. from the Department of Life Sciences at Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences in 2019. Between 2019 and 2022, she received a Postdoc in the Department of Cell Modulation, Institute of Molecular Embryology and Genetics, Kumamoto University (Kumamoto). Since 2022, she has been the Assistant Professor of the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience and Neurology, at Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (Tokyo).

Dr. Junji Yamauchi graduated with a Ph.D. from the Department of Biological Sciences at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1997. Between 1997 and 2000, he received a Postdoc in the Department of Biological Sciences, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo) and received a Postdoc in the Department of Pharmacology, National Children’s Medical Research Center (Tokyo) between 2000 and 2001. From 2001 to 2005, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Cell Biology, Nara Institute of Science and Technology Graduate School of Biological Sciences (Nara). From 2003 to 2005, he worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor (an additional position) at the Department of Neurobiology, Stanford University School of Medicine (CA, USA). From 2005 to 2016, he became the Group Leader of the Molecular Pharmacology Group, Department of Pharmacology, National Research Institute for Child Health and Development (Tokyo). Between 2008 and 2012, he worked as a Visiting Associate Professor (an additional position) at the Department of Biological Sciences, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo) and worked as a Visiting Associate Professor (an additional position) at the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Tokyo Medical and Dental University (Tokyo) between 2012 and 2016. Since 2016, he has been a Professor at the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience and Neurology, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (Tokyo).
