Sarang Jang is an assistant professor at the Department of Public Health at Sahmyook University. She obtained her doctorate and master's degree in Public Health from Seoul National University's Graduate School of Public Health. She previously worked as a researcher at the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her research interests include the response to emerging infectious diseases, health promotion, community health, and digital health. In recognition of her research on COVID-19 response, she was awarded the Young Frontier Scholar Award by the Korean Society of Health Education and Health Promotion in 2021.
