Youbin Lai is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, Shantou University. He graduated from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and received his Ph.D. He is also a member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. His research interests include metal additive manufacturing, surface engineering, friction and wear, high-energy beam processing, and remanufacturing.
