Riham Salah El Dine is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy at Cairo University. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University in 1998, with a general grade of excellent with honor. After graduation, she worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Pharmacognosy at Cairo University from 1998 to 2003. During this time, she obtained her master's degree in Pharmacognosy. From 2003 to 2004, she worked as an assistant lecturer in the same department. In 2004, she enrolled as a PhD student at the Institute of Natural Medicine in Toyama, where she worked for three years under the supervision of Professor Dr. Masao Hattori until she obtained her PhD. After completing her PhD, she was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship in the same laboratory for six months.
Hala M. El Hefnawy received her bachelor's degree, master’s degree, and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University in 1984, 1990, and 1996, respectively. She is a Professor at the Pharmacognosy Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. Her research interests mainly focus on p38 MAPK; phenolics; hepatoprotective; in silico screening; and molecular docking.
