Dr. Yota Tatara has been an assistant professor at Hirosaki University Graduate School of Medicine since April 2009. His educational experience includes the completion of a Ph.D. degree at Soka University from April 2003 to March 2006. His scientific career includes postdoctoral research at the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tohoku University from April 2006 to March 2009. His major research interests lie in investigations of stress response pathways; oxidative stress; supersulfide; proteomics; and metabolomics.
Dr. Shuya Kasai is an assistant professor at the Department of Stress Response Science, Biomedical Research Center, Hirosaki University Graduate School of Medicine. His educational experience includes the completion of a Ph.D. degree at Iwate University from April 2008 to March 2011. His scientific career includes postdoctoral research at the Department of Tumor Biology, Institute of Biomedical Science, Iwate Medical University from April 2011 to September 2014, and working as an assistant professor at the Department of Biomolecular Sciences, Graduate School of Life Science, Tohoku University from October 2014 to March 2017. His major research interests lie in investigations of stress response pathways in mammalian pathophysiology.

Dr. Tadayuki Tsujita is an associate professor at the Laboratory of Biochemistry, Department of Applied Biochemistry and Food Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Saga University. His educational experience includes the completion of a Bachelor's degree at the Department of Fishery, School of Agriculture, Kyushu University, from April 1996 to March 2000; the completion of a Master's degree in Bioresource and Biotechnology at the School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences, Kyushu University, from April 2000 to March 2002; and the completion of a Ph.D. degree in Immunology at the School of Bioscience, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, from April 2002 to March 2005. His scientific career includes working as an associate professor at Saga University since April 2023. In addition, his major research interests are in stress response transcriptional factors, genetical modified mouse/fish development, and small molecular screening.
Dr. Junsei Mimura graduated from Tohoku University, where he also completed his master's and doctorate degrees. He is a member of the Japanese Biochemical Society and the Japanese Society of Molecular Biology. He served as a researcher at the University of Tsukuba, from 2002 to 2007, and has been a Lecturer at Hirosaki University since 2007. His research interests includes life sciences, molecular biology, and oxidative stress.
Prof. Dr. Ken Itoh is a professor at the Department of Stress Response Science at Hirosaki University. His scientific career includes being a principal Investigator at the Department of Stress Response Science, Hirosaki University from January 2006 to October 2016. His major research interests lie in investigations of transcription factors; antioxidants; oxidative stress; transcription; gene expression; transcriptional regulation; gene regulation; and regulation of gene expression.
