Dr. Silvana Mirella Aliberti is currently a Research Fellow in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry "Scuola Medica Salernitana" of the University of Salerno, Italy. She has also been appointed as a lecturer in the Master's Program in Preventive and Functional Medicine at the International University of Dresden, Germany. She holds a Ph.D. in Translational Medicine of Development and Active Aging, with focus on the integrated management of frailty, chronic diseases, and multimorbidity. She is also an Expert in Environmental management and Land recovery and a member of the Interdepartmental Observatory for Gender and Equal Opportunities Studies (OGEPO) at the University of Salerno, Italy. Her research interests include public health, epidemiology, environmental health, global health, community wellbeing, quality of life, healthspan, and longevity.
Dr. Antonio Donato is a Medical Doctor, and currently he is a Hygiene and Preventive Medicine resident in the Department of Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry "Scuola Medica Salernitana" at the University of Salerno, Italy. From 2017 to 2023, he served as the Local Officer on Information and Technology (LOIT) at the Italian Secretary of Medical Students (SISM) in Salerno. From 2020 to 2023, he completed an internship in Forensic and Occupational Medicine at the Multi-Specialist Clinic "A.D.R.M. Heliopolis", Castel San Giorgio, Salerno, Italy.
Prof. Dr. Richard H. W. Funk is a Professor (Senior) at the Institute of Anatomy, TU-Dresden. He became a Professor (Associate) at Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (September 1988–September 1994). From October 1994 to the present, he has been the Chair of the Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav, Technische Universität Dresden, before becoming the Head of the Department of the Institute of Anatomy, Technische Universität Dresden, Medizinische Fakultät Carl Gustav Carus. From January 2005 to November 2013, he was PI at the Center for Regenerative Therapies, Dresden. At the same time, he served as an advisor in several research projects, a reviewer for different journals, and a senior advisor in state and EU projects. His research interests are now the physics of the cell and the iImpact of physical factors like EMF on cell and molecular biology. Methods related to both of these topics are used in his work as a senior advisor in the research field.
Prof. Dr. Mario Capunzo is Full Professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at the Department of Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry "Scuola Medica Salernitana" of the University of Salerno, Italy. He became Associate Professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine in the Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Salerno (1992). Since 2001, he has been Full Professor, and since 2011, he has served as Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of the Department of Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry "Scuola Medica Salernitana", University of Salerno. From 2017 to the present, he has also been the Director of the Department of Integrated Care and the Complex Operative Unit of Health Hygiene and Evaluative Medicine of the University Hospital "San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d'Aragona". In addition, at the beginning of 2024, he was appointed by MUR as a member of the Working Group on Antibiotic Resistance at the Italian Ministry of Health. He is the author of numerous scientific papers published in international journals.
