Weidong Xie received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology at the Institute of Medicinal Plant, Peking Union Medical College, in 2005. He has been working as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, China, since 2012. His research interests include pharmacological research in the fields of diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and obesity.
