Prof. Rafael Leandro Fernandes Melo earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2015) and a master's in Materials Engineering (2019) from the Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Ceará. Now, he is a Professor at the Federal Institute of Ceará—IFCE. He has experience in the fields of mechanical engineering and materials engineering. His areas of skills and expertise include energy engineering and renewable energy technologies.
Prof. Dr. Ana Michele Da Silva Lima is a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará—IFCE. She is working on integrated technical, technologist, and higher education courses. She has a degree in History from the State University of Ceará—UECE. She specialized in Brazilian history at the Higher Institute of Applied Theology—INTA. She earned a master’s degree from the Federal University of Ceará, linked to the Center for History and Memory of Education (NHIME)—FACED/UFC. She received her Ph.D. from the State University of Ceará—UECE. She is also a member of the Center for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies (NEABI), Aracati campus, and the research group Educational Practices, Memories and Orality (PEMO) at the State University of Ceará—UECE. She has experience in the areas of history, sociology, and philosophy, as well as education with pedagogical consultancy, and in the following subjects: history of education, didactics, teaching methodology, research methodology, teaching practice, political structure, educational management, and sociocultural studies. Her research is mainly linked to the following themes: history of education, teacher training, school, memory, oral history, biography, educational practices, public educational policies, women, hygiene, culture, the city, disease, public health, and architecture.
Juliana de França Serpa holds a degree in Science and Technology (2011) and a degree in Chemical Engineering (2013) from the Universidade Federal Rural do Semiárido—UFERSA. She has a master’s degree (2016) and a doctorate (2020) in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará—UFC. She carried out work in the area of effluent treatments in partnership with UFERSA. She has experience in the area of chemical engineering, with an emphasis on biochemical processes, with research focused on the use of agro-industrial waste and enzymatic engineering. She also has a pedagogical training degree in Chemistry from the Centro Universitário da Grande Fortaleza (UNIGRANDE). Now, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony, Redenção, Brazil.
Prof. Dr. Maria Cristiane Martins de Souza graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará—UFC (2007). She earned a BS degree and a master's degree in Chemical Engineering (2009) from the State University of Campinas—SP—UNICAMP. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará—UFC, in 2013. She has experience in the areas of chemical
engineering, biochemical processes, biomass, bioproduct separation processes, and distance education. She completed her junior postdoctorate at CNPq/UFC in 2014. Now, she is Adjunct Professor at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia (UNILAB) and the Director of the Institute of Engineering and Sustainable Development (IEDS) at UNILAB.
Prof. Dr. José Cleiton Sousa dos Santos graduated in Chemistry from the State University of Ceará (2008). He holds a master’s degree (2011) and a Ph.D. (2015) in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, and Biotechnology (Molecular Biosciences) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, UAM, Spain (2015). Now, he is a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PGEQ) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry (PGQUIM) at UFC, and a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Energy and Environment (PGEA) at UNILAB. He has experience in the areas of chemistry, chemistry teaching, chemical engineering, enzyme engineering, and biotechnological processes. He is currently the General Coordinator of Certification Exams (CGEC) at the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP).
