Dr. Khalid Said Mohammad is currently a Professor of Anatomy and Genetics at the Alfaisal University, Saudi Arabia. He completed his MD degree from Ain Shams University, School of Medicine in 1987 and his Master's degree in Clinical Cytopathology from the University of London in 1992. He completed his Ph.D. studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in 2000. He served as an Assistant Professor and advanced to Associate Professor at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine from 2002 to 2009. He served as an Associate Professor and advanced to a Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine from 2009 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, he served as a Professor of Endocrine Neoplasia at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research interests are focused on the study of bone metastases, breast cancer, prostate cancer TGF-beta, histomorphometry, and animal models.
