Dr. Afolake Arowolo is a Senior Research Scientist at The University of Cape Town and was recently appointed Specialist Scientist at the South African Medical Research Council. She obtained her Master's in Biochemistry at Obafemi Awolowo University in 2008 and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Rhodes University in 2012. Her research interests are in Enzymology, Nanobiotechnology, Molecular Biology and Functional Genomics.
