Deming Tan received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany in 2020. Currently, he is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Chengdu University. His research interests include the design, synthesis, and functional exploration of porous materials for energy and environmental issues. So far, he has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater, Small, Appl. Energy Mater, etc.

Xuelin Fan has been a Distinguished Researcher at Chengdu University, Institute for Advanced Study since 2020. She received her Bachelor of Engineering in Textile Engineering at Sichuan University, School of Textile and Food from 2009 to 2013, Master of Science in Polymer Chemical Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China, School of Chemistry and Materials from 2013 to 2016 and a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Dresden University of Technology from 2016 to 2020. Her research interests include Research on the application of dynamic soft matter materials.
