Dr. Simonas Ramanavicius is a senior researcher at the State Research Institute Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, Lithuania. In 2022, he defended a PhD at Vilnius University and received a PhD degree in Natural Sciences. Simonas‘ research interests include the synthesis of metal oxides, MXenes, and their practical applications in catalysis and the design of sensors.
Prof. Dr. Maksym Pogorielov is a former Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield, UK, and currently serves as the Head of the Research Center and Professor at Sumy State University. He was awarded the Presidium National Academy of Sciences Diploma for Biomaterial Development Research. He is the Governmental Grants Reviewer of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Medicine. Prof. Dr. Maksym Pogorielov's research mainly focuses on nanomaterials, biomaterials, and bone biology.
Prof. Dr. Arunas Ramanavicius is a Professor at Vilnius University, Lithuania. He also leads the laboratory of Nanobiotechnology at the Research Center of Physical Sciences and Technologies. He is a member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. In 1998, he received his Ph.D. degree and, in 2002, he received his Doctor Habilitus degree. Prof. Dr. Arunas Ramanavicius serves as an Expert Evaluator in the Horizon 2020 program coordinated by the European Commission, and he is a technical advisor to many foundations located in various European countries. He was a National Coordinator of several nanotechnology-related COST actions. He was also an editorial board member of the MDPI journals Materials and Sensors, among several other journals.
