Prof. Dr. Fuqiang Hu is the Vice Dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Science at Zhejiang University and is in charge of the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Preparation Technology. He mainly engages in molecular pharmaceutics research and has obtained a lot of original research achievements and great societal and economic performance in the area of drug molecular targeted therapy, drug controlled release, and technical innovation in pharmaceutical engineering. In the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Preparation Technology, he was in charge of 10 projects, including National Science and Technology Major Projects and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He attained 50 items of invention patents, 2 items of the second prize of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, and 2 items of the first prize of the provincial award. He was also involved in establishing 4 standards for Chinese Pharmacopoeia. He is the Vice Director of the Pharmaceutical Professional Committee of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, the Biological Particles Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Particuology, the review experts of national drugs, and the editorial board of Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica.
